Hello,
You are probably familiar with the film emulation presets in the GIMP (http://blog.patdavid.net/2013/09/film-emulation-presets-in-gmic-gimp.html). This presets have been already implemented in Raw Therapee (see http://50.87.144.65/~rt/w/index.php?title=Film_Simulation), and I wonder whether they can be ported to digiKam, too? Hi Dmitri, The film simulation exist too in digiKam but not in advanced stage than Gimp or RawTherapee. You will find some of these functions in B&W Converter, and also in Color Negative tool. Hi Gilles,
I know that digiKam have some film filters. However, filters in the Color Negative tool work only with, well, color negatives, while filters in the Black and White tool are limited to B&W films. Anyway, I thought that Pat David's filters would make a great replacement for the Effects tools, which are both outdated and not very useful.
