I'm about starting to use digikam now that the MacOSX pkg are
available (many thanks!) I would like to know if I can set digikam so that the actual pictures are kept on an external drive while the database is kept on the internal drive. In this way I assume I could search for a picture on the data base even if the external drive were not connected (obviously I would need to connect the external drive to retrieve the actual picture). Or have a collection of usb drives for different albums.
