Exif-data-manging

Stefan Siebert-3
Hello users,

Maybe somebody can help me.
Looking for a tool with wich I can change the exif-data of jpg-files.
Example change name of camera.
Is there one in digikam?
Or can I download such tool for SuSE Linux 10.2?

Many thanks for helping me.

You can try several command line tools:
1. exiv2 - EXIF/IPTC metadata manipulation tool  ->..my prefered
2. jhead - manipulate the non-image part of Exif compliant JPEG files

And not to forget: exiftool <http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/>
which is the swiss army knife for everything regarding photo metadata - it can
even write some raw file formats
