Error "not possible to add a collection" with digiKam 5.7.0 in Win7-64

HansS
I installed "digiKam-5.7.0-02-Win64.exe", then selected some empty dir
on drive D: for database, then a dir with 2 sub dirs with *.jpg as
collection via "Add collection". After closing "Configure digiKam" i get
error message "It was not possible to add a collection for the following
paths:" (showing the correct path on D:). After re-opening "Configure
digiKam" I see wrong path on B: (see screenshots). I have access right
in all that folders, and in the parallel database dir I see
"digikam4.db" etc. successfully created.

Same error with alternative syntax
"\\.\D:\Backup\..."
(other alternative syntax like "\\?\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Backup\..."
and "\\.\Volume{b1a6d4c4-f117-11e4-a0c2-806e6f6e6963}\Backup\..." do not
work), but successful with localhost:
"\\localhost\d$\Backup\..."

Is this a known bug, is there another workaround than using network
share? I expect that access via network share is slower, and it's
annoying, that path selected via folder select dialogue does not work.

Problem is fixed with 5.8.0 pre-release windows installer. This due to changes in Marble library which have been updated while 5.7.0 packaging to a very recent version.

Thanks for the update, but after uninstall 5.7 then install of
"digiKam-5.8.0-01-Win64.exe" the problem is not fixed: Same behavior as
before, error message "not possible to add a collection" after selecting
some dir on D:.

But the other reported problem 'Error "No plugins were loaded" with
digiKam 5.7.0 in Win7-64' is fixed with 5.8.0-01 :).
