Hello,
After the last gphoto2 upgrade, I go to see if now works the Panasonic / Lumix DMC-FZ30. But digiKam doesn't detect the FZ20 (detected from now). I look the camera list: is empty. I can see a long list with $ gphoto2 --list-cameras|grep -i panasonic "Panasonic Coolshot KXL-600A" "Panasonic Coolshot KXL-601A" "Panasonic Coolshot NV-DCF5E" "Panasonic DC1000" "Panasonic DC1580" "Panasonic DMC-FZ20" "Panasonic DMC-FZ20 (alternate id)" "Panasonic DMC-LC1" "Panasonic DMC-LZ2" "Panasonic Lumix FZ5" "Panasonic PV-L691" "Panasonic PV-L859" (not FZ30 :( ) Versions: gphoto2 2.2.0-3 $ digikam --version Qt: 3.3.6 KDE: 3.5.3 digiKam: 0.8.2-rc1 Any workaround? Thanks :) Regards, -- Benjamí http://blog.bitassa.cat . _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

You need to recompile digikam ! Gilles _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Either BC was broken without bumping soname of the lib or digikam does something wrong how it loads libgphoto. See also http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=374460 I really don't like the hackish workaround to install libgphoto2-2-dev but I've still to learn what goes wrong. With the today Debian (Sid) dist-upgrade I've received: libexif-dev libgphoto2-2-dev libexif-dev libgphoto2-2-dev digikam libgphoto2-2 libgphoto2-port0 libtiff-tools libtiff4 and now digiKam works fine. And with Panasonic DMC-FZ30 as "Panasonic DMC-FZ20" detected and working! I love free software ;) Thanks! $ dpkg -l "digikam*" "*gphoto*" | grep ^i | awk '{print $2, $3}' digikam 0.8.1+0.8.2-rc1-2 digikamimageplugins 0.8.1-2 gphoto2 2.2.0-3 libgphoto2-2 2.2.0-5 libgphoto2-2-dev 2.2.0-5 libgphoto2-port0 2.2.0-5 -- Benjamí http://blog.bitassa.cat . _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
