Directory to Import from Camera

Mick Sulley
How do I specify a default for the directory for files imported from my
camera?

Sorry, I know it is a basic question but I can't find it in the manual.

Thanks

Go to digiKam Setup Dialog in Camera/Behavior section. Option to turn
on is "Use a default target album to download from camera"

Re: Directory to Import from Camera

Sorry, still can't find it.  I am on 2.6.0

I plug in the camera, select Import and the import screen opens, from
the settings on there I see "Auto-creation of Albums" where I can select
Extension based or Date based sub-albums, but I don't see any option for
a default

You need 3.x release. Last stable is 3.5.0.
