SimpleViewerExport is a new gallery generator for kipi-enabled applications like digiKam, kimdaba, showimg and gwenview. It creates flash based galleries, using Felix Turner's SimpleViewer. In digiKam you will find the gallery generator in "Album->Export->Export to SimpleViewer.." after you have installed kipi-plugins. -> http://www.jokele.de/simpleviewerexport/ Example gallery -> http://www.jokele.de/simpleviewerexport/example/ SimpleViewer is a free, customizable Flash image viewing application. -> http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/ Kipi (KDE Image Plugin Interface) is an effort to develop a common plugin structure for Digikam, KimDaBa, Showimg and Gwenview. > Example gallery I can not open the example gallery with Konqueror (KDE 3.5) - The flash plugin opens and tries to recieve the pictures and then stays grey. This procedure appears again when I choose "play" from contect menu. The icon for "faulty pages" in shown in the status bar of konqueror. In Firefox it works and looks indead nice. Two questions: did you add the borders manually before are can simpleviewer set them? Are there restrictions concerning the dimensions of the pictures or are tey skaled automatically? Good work so far (hope it works in Konqueror soon). A nice addition to kipi-plugins. By the way, when will there be a new release? _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

By the way, when will there be a new release? I can't open it with konqueror either, Looking at the source, i get this: aved from url=(0014)about:internet --> <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <meta name="generator" content="kipiplugin simpleviewerexport"> [rest is cut away] I can load the file (viewer.swf) directly in konqueror and it works fine though. -anders -- www: http://alweb.dk jabber: [hidden email] _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

There seems to be a problem with the flash detection in konqi. I've just disabled it. Now it works with my konqi. Can you try it again? > In Firefox it works and looks indead nice. They are added by SimpleViewer, you can change the colors and the size of the big image from the plugin. > Are there > restrictions concerning the dimensions of the pictures or are tey skaled > automatically? The images are scaled by SimpleViewer to its maximum size (SimpleViewer Image Size in the plugins General page). With "Target Images Size" you can resize them, so you have not to upload the full sized image to your webserver. You can find more information here: http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/manual_instruct.html ... Also have problems with displaying of .swf files both in FF and Konq. Only direct address to viewer.swf works and only in FF. No big problem with me but spotted one thing. In this situation background is #00F (like in BSOD). Ugly. Maybe configuration background color (default #000) should be passed directly to .swf file? In this way it would look better when viewed standalone. m. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
