Digikam from latest SVN doesn't compile without libjasper

Hi all,
Latest Digikam from SVN doesn't compile without libjasper. When compiling
jp2kloader.cpp it stops with:

In file included from jp2kloader.cpp:46:
jp2kloader.h:28:27: error: jasper/jasper.h: No such file or directory

and a lot of errors follow.

Is libjasper a required dependency?

Yes, JPEG2000 supports needs this.

Yes. This is for JPEG2000 support. It's listed in the README.
