[Digikam-devel] new dcraw -H option with version 8.17

Gilles Caulier-2
Hi all,

Someone have already tested -H option of dcraw 8.17 ?

-H 0   Clip all highlights to solid white (default).

-H 1   Leave highlights unclipped in various shades of pink.

-H 2   Attempt to intelligently reconstruct highlights.

This is have a sence to add this option in 0.9.0 ? Where i can find a
documentation/tests about ?

regards

Gilles

Hi Thorsten,

"-n" is now the same as "-H 1".  I kept this option
for backward-compatibility.

For "-H 2", I'm thinking of a new algorithm that
might work better with non-white bright objects.  If no
algorithm is ideal, various methods could be linked to
"-H 3", "-H 4", and so on.
