[Digikam-devel] moving kipi to graphicsmagick

Jonathan Riddell-2

KOffice has recently moved from imagemagick to graphicsmagick.  Are
there any plans to do the same for kipi plugins?  Ubuntu and probably
other distributions won't want to support two very similar libraries.

For any problem duing C++ ImageMagick lib and execption management, kipi is
not linked to library but use Command line tool (via KProcess). The IM and GM
command line tools are the same. In fact, kipi is already compatible with GM
tool...
