Hi all,
If all is ok for you, we can plan to make a first 0.9.0-beta1 release during May. Let's me resume all pending tasks to do before : digiKam ---------- My tasks : - Polishing and optimizing DMetadata (I'm working on) - Add new option on metadata setup to set IPTC tags to identify photographers informations. Code under finalization on my computer. (I'm working on) - CameraGUI : add new option to set date&Time Exif tags dunring download if camera don't set it properlly. Close B.K.O file entries accordinly. (I'm working on). - Finalize workflow of embedded ICC profile RAW file. Paco : - Finalize screen ICC color corrections. Marcel, there are some tasks to do if you is interressed : - Add dcraw program detection at startup (simple). - Add interraction between Comments & tags sidebar tab from main interface and image editor Comments & tags sidebar tab, if the both are open at the same time. (medium) - Add Exif support on TIFF/EP Metadata loader (hard). Joern, Tom ? DigikamImagePlugins ---------------------------- - Finalize SuperImpose plugin widget (Marcel ?). - Fix folder tree view in SuperImpose plugin (me). - Finalize Perspective plugin (Marcel ?). After that, we need to do a first B.K.O file entries purging (:=))). I have already started that last week (:=)))... i will trying to identify the most important files to fix. Let's me hear if i have forget something to do... A nice week end Gilles _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

I can fix the problems with zooming, that's no problem. What else? > - Fix folder tree view in SuperImpose plugin (me). > - Finalize Perspective plugin (Marcel ?). Same question, what needs to be done? I have been thinking of adding spinboxes to set the angles, but that is difficult enough (I can do the normal trigonometry, but I don't know how to get the points for drawing from sides and angles without running into all sorts of corner cases which I don't like). Alternatively, we could add a widget to position the corner points, as wished for SuperImpose, so that is connected to the Superimpose rewrite which is currently scheduled for later 0.9.x. Generally, university is starting tomorrow again but I strongly suspect that it is actually starting only a week later, so there is some more spare time left for these tasks... I dont know what is involved with this. Well, in TIFFMetaLoader, Exif TIFF/EP tags are'nt parsed to store in an Exiv2 container to display in metadata sidebar. There is a TIFF/EP spec. on the web, i will trying to find out. > > > Joern, Tom ? > > > > DigikamImagePlugins > > ---------------------------- > > - Finalize SuperImpose plugin widget (Marcel ?). > > I can fix the problems with zooming, that's no problem. OK. Let's me hear if you need help if necessary. I'm currently working to sort all B.K.O entries (it's long)... In TODO file, I have started a first B.K.O files list to fix at 0.9.0. This list do not include all digiKam tags bugs. I think we must fix the bugs relevant of new implementation because it fresh in minds... Tags bugs will be fixed in a second time. It's right for you ? Gilles PS : my mail in my office is broken : main mails server are forked to M$ Exchange. Since we use DMetadata to load and store Exif/Iptc, all embedded text are obsolete for example. All DImg::loader need to be fixed too, especially save methods. I will take a look indeep the code and report all points that need to be fixed. Paco,
Look like Exiv2 author have started a new tiff/ep parser in current Exiv2 implementation : http://dev.robotbattle.com/cmtinfo_svn.php?r=10 This is want mean that tiff will be supported for next Exiv2 release and that we can use this tiff parser to make new RAW file parser (NEF, MRW, etc...)
