[Digikam-devel] No thumbnails for tif and png files in svn version with kubuntu

There are no thumbnails in browser view for tiff and png files. Only the
broken-picture icon is showed for each of them.

any idea?

No suspects messages in console. All seems to be right.

I cannot reproduce it in my computer. Have you tried to purge your
~/.thumbnails folder to force kio slave to recompute thumbs ?

Nothing have been changed in kioslave/DImg loader recently

I'm not thinking about a digiKam problems, but on my distro ones (kubuntu),
I've posted this hear because I know there are some kubuntu/ubuntu users in
ML.

There is a more strange behaviour: in showfoto the thumbnails are properly
created and showed.

Gilles, do you remember an image of an arachnid from a user who posted a bug?

There was some problem with it: the thumbnail wasn't properly showed, what was
that problem? because the thumbnail for this image (tiff format) is the only
one that is showed here (except for jpeg files, their thumbnails are right)
but isn't showed ok.
