Gilles,

Exiv2 recognizes Exif makernotes based on the camera make. If users can edit
this field (guessing from EXIF04.png (11/13)), the makernote will not be
recognized anymore. This may lead to confusing effects.

Very very nice!

Actually, it would be nice if the focal range is displayed as well
(and if possible/available: the lens type)

Well it's more complicated because Lens type is included in MakerNote, not
standard Exif data.

Ah no. Only these value are available :

- the focal used by camera to take the picture
- the focal of the lens in 35mm film format.
