[Digikam-devel] Idea for easier tagging of photographs

Hi,

I've never used the digiKam tragging features. The main reason is, that
i don't like the interfaces to put the tags at the photos. So i have
basicly to interfaces that i'd like to have.

1st, It would be great, if i could type the tags directly in. Best would
be if there is a feature for auto-completion. Simply type a few letters
and a list would appear with all tags what are starting with the same
letter. To get it perfect, this feature should also work when multiple
images are selected.

2nd, we download all our pictures after each event. therefore it would
be very handsom when i have interface to do some basic tagging, eg.
birthday party, Oliver, during the download.

What do you think?

Fo this one, i have planed to do the "On the fly Tagging" during download
later 0.9.0 release.

Just to remeber, please make a file in B.K.O about this subject. Thanks in
advance
