I played only one day with it to get a feeling what is akonadi and what it is for. Currently I can only list the albums and contents of a specific user and show them as a collection inside akonadi. There has to be a lot of more: - a model for images/videos - more plugins - better configuration dialogs (with login) - a decision where to store thumbnails (I think a attribute will be best) - a item fetch and caching strategy (not download of all images on listing) - ... > > >> >> What about CMYK-support? I think I should mention this:
It is just a tryout on my own. I do _not_ want to make the design decisions on my own, I just followed the tutorials. > >> >>> >>> Ouups, last saturday I played arround with akonadi and get a first >>> exporter showing up inside. HI Jens
I'm not convinced yet to use Akonady to export something somewhere. It sound a big piece of puzzle to do this job. But it just my viewpoint. Personnaly, working to factoring all export/import tools implementation sound better.
