           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.8.1
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: notdrugged pcperspective com

Version:           0.8.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, Arch Linux)
Compiler:          Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu

Okay, where do the files go when they're imported?  Imported the files from the camera after setting the path there, and nothing happened.

Import is to take files from everywhere, but not from camera. CameraGUI must be used for that. All new files are parsed and a registration is done in the database (comments, date&time, etc. to process search later).
