Hello list,
I have two questions concerning Digikam and mysql. I want to store my pictures
on a NAS in my local network such that more than one computer can access them.
Now I wonder
- it it is possible to access the pictures from different computers at the
same time, using one mysql database. In other words, is concurrent access of
pictures and database is supported?
- what is the best way to share pictures among different users. Should I set
up file permission such that all users can access them, and then serve the
pictures, e.g. using nfs, or is there better way to share pictures. This
question is a bit fussy since I am really not sure how to do this best.
