Digikam and libjasper

What is the reason that Digikam libjasper needs. In Debian there is instead the package openjpeg2. Will be changed in version 7 ?

Hi,

It's used with native JPEG2000 image loader, which not yet ported to openjpeg.

libjasper is in all case optional at compilation time
