Digikam 6.4.0 hangs on splash screen

When I try to run DigiKam, it gives me the error message "Error while opening database..." and it never ends trying to reconnect to the database.

If I click cancel the "Failed to open the data base" message appears.
I click "OK" but then, Digikam hangs when the "Cheking ICC Repository" appears on the splash screen.

Any idea for what is happening, and hoe to solve it?
