Digikam 2.9 with external mysql-db: access only as mysql-root-user

Hello.

I changed last night the database-connection in digikam of the internal
database to an external mysql-server.

I tried to use a digikam-user with following rights (db: digikam an
digikam_thumbs):

Grants for digikamuser@%
+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| GRANT USAGE ON *.* TO 'digikamuser'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY PASSWORD'*****'
| GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON `digikamdb`.* TO digikamuser'@'%'
| GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON `digikam_thumbnailsdb`.* TO 'digikamuser'@'%'


With this rights digikam doen's connect to the database. The connection
is ok, after I use the mysql-root-user in digikam.

What's the problem? Who can help me?

Dear Christian,
I have the same issue, but in fact is not a real problem for me. But the mysql
is MUCH faster than the internal database, eg, shifting pictures to another
album.
