Hello,
I'm using digikam for a while and it's really a great app(lication). When starting I used it under Linux in a VM and now I'm happy that the windows port is maintained more and I downloaded the installer from Gilles and the latest KDE Win installer. With both digikam 1.7 is working in general but none of the kipi-plugins is working anymore. I've tested it under Windows XP (32bit) as well as Windows 7 (64bit). The plugins are listed and checked all in the configuration menu but they do not work. With the zipped file for digikam 1.6 provided by Gilles the plugins worked fine. Did anybody made the same experience? Did I miss something to configure? I would be happy if someone could help me. Thanks in advance. all It's work fine here. I run digiKam NSIS installer 1.7 under a new XP SP3 computer and all work fine. I do nothing special.
Which path do you use to install ? Which plugin do not work exactly. All or a specific one ? Best Gilles Caulier 2011/1/12 loerzi <[hidden email]> Hello, _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Gilles,
thanks for the response. With the digiKam NSIS installer i use C:\Progamme\digikam and with the KDE Wininstaller I use C:\KDE. Except the latest export to instant messaging none is working. I didn't test the instant messaging but it is at least shown in the Export menu. All the other export plugins are not shown in the export menu. And all the other menu items related to kipi-plugins are also not shown. The rotation arrows are shown but nothing happens if I click on them. You have a mix between MSCV and MINGW compiled QT4 library, probably due to multiple installtion on your computer.
Clean up indeep your installation and try again Gilles Caulier
