I'm currently trying to create a calendar using Digikam's calendar tool, but
it seems to be taking ages to process. I used to use 0.93 in Kubuntu 8.04 and that was fairly fast, but now I'm using 0.10.0 in Kubuntu 9.04 and 1.0.0 in Kubuntu 9.10 and both versions seem to be taking ages to process the pages. Actually, just got the first month printed out and the only the first 20mm of the picture is showing. _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Please try to export to PDF or PS, just for testing... 0.9.0 is available for Ubuntu 9.10 in karmic-backports repository, just in case if you want to try with newer version. I've got 0.9.0 running on a laptop and I just tried printing to a pdf which is going as slow as 0.7.0 is. I started printing a 12 month calendar at 16.30 and now at 20.00 I'm at 41% :( _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

I've got digiKam 1.0rc installed and newest kipi plugins. So, it seems there is something wrong with your installation. Regards, I've now tried on 3 computers with Kubuntu 9.04, Digikam 1.0.0 beta 5 and Kipiplugins 0.7.0 and all 3 are going at the same speed :( Is there anything else I can check? _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
