Dark images

Dark images

Since starting to use DigiKam (and finding many valuable facilities), my
photos have been printing far too dark.

I'm supposing that this is caused by a wrongly-set adjustment in DigiKam.

I suppose I could adjust the original files but this would add
unnecessary processing.

Could anyone suggest a cure ?

JPEG or RAW ?
