Digikam is not "seeing" some of my mp4 files.
I have a directory containing 3 .mp4 files (and many .jpgs) $ lsl pix/2013/20131020/*.mp4 -rw-r--r-- 1 john john 72207409 2013-10-20 13:32 pix/2013/20131020/20131020_090052_p1000424.mp4 -rw-r--r-- 1 john john 21641164 2013-10-20 13:33 pix/2013/20131020/20131020_090629_p1000427.mp4 -rw-r--r-- 1 john john 55627950 2013-10-20 13:36 pix/2013/20131020/20131020_100436_p1000494.mp4 but only the first shows up in DK's album view. I've tried re-building thumbnails in the album, and closing and re-opening DK (so it re-scans the albums). Is there any way to find out why DK doesn't recognise the other files? Or better still to make it do so? Each of the mp4 files is straight, unmodified, off a Lumix TZ30 and `file` reports each as "ISO Media, MPEG v4 system, version 2" System is DK 2.7.0, kde 4.7.4, ubuntu oneiric 3.0.0-32-generic-pae -- John Stumbles http://stumbles.org.uk :-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-: _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Update: DK did eventually register the missing files, but it must have
taken half an hour or an hour after the images had been placed into the directory before it did so. I'm curious why?
