Cutting edges onto the image

Anders Lund
Hi list,

I sometimes do a manual crop by selecting an area an pressing c-x. Today,
digikam tends to add a white border to my cropped photos if I try to select
near to the edge.

Anyone else experiencing that?

Btw, I badly miss the ability to start selecting OUTSIDE the photo, to make
sure I get a certain edge of the image as part of the selection.

Anders

Or not - 3.5 is KDE 3, and probably not even supported:\

But it is from a time when things worked that was broken with the 4.x series,
where there are still many, many bugs and misfinctionality.

Sorry for going off-topic. Are there changelogs available? Some of my photos
got Digikam 0.9 as editor in their tags, and wondered when that could have
been. I remember there being a beta at 0.99(...) or 1.99(....) for quite a
while, but the news on the Digikam site is not conclusive.

Best regards,

Boudewijn
