Create MPEG slideshow in 0.8.2rc1

Hi,

any attempt to create MPEG slideshow with digikam 0.8.2rc1 results in this
error message:

Fixed in current implementation of kipi-plugins (this error don't come from
digiKam directly). Please look in bugs.kde.org about mpegencoder plugin for
more details. You can contact too [hidden email], the kipi plugins
mailing list.

I upgraded to the latest kipi plugins for Mandriva:
    * kipi-plugins-0.1.0-0.rc2.0.1.20060mdk.i586.rpm
    * libkexif0-0.2.3-0.1.20060mdk.i586.rpm
    * libkexif0-devel-0.2.3-0.1.20060mdk.i586.rpm
    * libkipi0-0.1.4-0.1.20060mdk.i586.rpm
    * libkipi0-devel-0.1.4-0.1.20060mdk.i586.rpm

The error still persists.

I also tried the command line example from the images2mpg file:

I do not believe it is fixed. Thanks to Angelo Naselli's advice on kipi
mailing list I managed to make the basic command run on my system :

images2mpg -f SVCD -d 5 -S 420mpeg2 -o MyPortfolio.mpg -t 4 -i dsc0*.jpg

Yet when I use digikam I get this error report:
