Crash Reports

I have been getting fairly frequent crashes when I tag people in
pictures.  I have installed the gdb package and rebooted, but when I try
to report the crash I still get a message saying that I need to install gdb

I am running Version 2.6.0 KDE platform 4.8.4, and it is running in
Debian Wheezy 64 bit with Gnome 3.4.2 Desktop

Any idea how I can get crash reporting to work?  Or better still how can
I stop it crashing?
