Hello
How can I copy tags from one image to several other images ? I remember that I could 1. select the tags for one image 2. select this and all the other images that should get the same tags 3. Tags that are not the same for all selected images have bin light gray 4. select this light gray tags And - voila - this tags are now set for all selected images. Right now under openSuse 11.4 with digikam 1.8.0 there is no step 3. with light gray tags and selecting the tags that should be set for all selected images deselects this tag for all images. -- With regards Juergen e-mail : [hidden email] _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Hi,
I remember that this with light gray combo box was really great. Don't know when and why it disapeared. What happens if you deselect and then select the thag again? /Anders 2011/5/21 Jürgen Flosbach <[hidden email]>: > Hello > > How can I copy tags from one image to several other images ? > > I remember that I could > > 1. select the tags for one image > 2. select this and all the other images that should get the same tags > 3. I tried in 2.0.0 beta 5 and I found this:
If you open the ¨Caption/Tags¨ window on the right side of the screen, there beneath is an icon ¨Tags already assigned¨. This will display all assigned tags to the selected pictures, checked if they have the tag all in common, not checked if they are not all in common. Check this ones and click apply. Absolutely brilliant! I think this is what you are looking for, maybe not available in your version. This is available in 1.9.0, which I use, and that's not what I'm looking for. What was available in a previous version of digiKam: E.g. two images selected. Open Captions/Tags. If both images has the same tag set, the checkbox is checked with a black Tick mark. If a tag is only present in one of the images, the checkbox is checked with a light grey Tick mark. It's a little hard to see what's in that image but it seems to have
some horizonal lines in some checkboxes and ticks in other checkboxes. Is that correct? If so, are the boxes with horizontal lines tags that are only added to some images and the boxes with ticks tags that are added to all images? In that case there are differences between 1.9.0 and 2.0.0 beta 5 and the difference is only cosmetic to what it was in earlier versions. /Anders 2011/5/22 sleepless <[hidden email]>: > Op 22-05-11 20:21, sleepless schreef: >> >> I think you are clear, but if you have a look at my screen capture, what >> is then the difference except for cosmetics? >> >> Rinus >> Op 22-05-11 19:42, Stedtlund schreef: >>> >>> 2011/5/22 sleepless<[hidden email]>: >>>> >>>> I tried in 2.0.0 beta 5 and I found this: >>>> >>>> If you open the ¨Caption/Tags¨ window on the right side of the screen, >>>> there beneath is an icon ¨Tags already assigned¨. If you are willing to use beta software you can have it right now. I
suppose you are on Ubuntu? If you need directions let me know.
