Hi,
I've got the fc6 rpms of digikam installed. Unfortunately I get constant crashes in the editor. For example trying to adjust the levels or curves of a photo will cause digikam to crash. Also trying to apply to IR filter will cause a crash. The crashes occurs right after I've clicked on the corresponding menu item. Some filters do work. Any ideas? Is it my installation? FC6-problem? Digikam problem? For example, trying levels will cause: (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1". Are you sure to have installed DigikamImagePlugins 0.9.1 at thesame time than digiKam 0.9.1 ?
DigikamImagePlugins 0.9.0 can work with digiKam 0.9.1. The shared library libdigikam.so binary compatibilty is broken. This lib is provided by digiKam core and is used by DigikamImagePlugins. That seems to be the problem. There is no updated DigikamImagePlugins
package yet, I guess it's on the way :) DigiKam is a really nice application! Thanks a lot for the help. I should've seen the version mismatch. /Anders 2007/3/12, Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]>: > Are you sure to have installed DigikamImagePlugins 0.9.1 at thesame time > than digiKam 0.9.1 ? > > DigikamImagePlugins 0.9.0 can work with digiKam 0.9.1.
