My dh has a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I wanted to download photos from that
using Digikam. I enabled the Camera (PTP) option under it's USB PC connections setting and Digikam reconizes it as a camera. But when you select it to import photos nothing happens. Does anyone know how to get this working with Digikam? I'm using DK version 3.0 and Bodhi Linux 2 (biased on Ubuntu) Thanks, Kim _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Ah I think your right. If I run Digikam from the terminal I get this:
QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection 'ConnectionTest' is still in use, all queries will cease to work. digikam(8869)/digikam (core): Failed to get information for the listed camera digikam(8869)/digikam (core): Failed to detect camera with GPhoto2 from Solid information Kim On 02/28/2013 11:56 PM, caulier.gilles wrote: > Sound like this report : > > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311393 > > It's only affect Gphoto2 device... > > Gilles Caulier > _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Hello, Galaxy s3 should have USB mass storage mode. This is working well in digiKam. Le 1 mars 2013 06:08, "Kim" <[hidden email]> a écrit :

Recent versions of Android, including the version shipped with the galaxy s3 (and all of its later updates) lacks a mass storage mode. It is possible to get it back if you are rooted, but for ordinary users it is not possible to use it add a mass storage device. . On Mar 4, 2013 12:14 PM, "GDoirat - GMail" <[hidden email]> wrote:
