Compiling under windows - use gcc-v3

Gert Kello
Hi

I wanted to add comment to "Tutorial : How To Compile digiKam Under
Microsoft Windows Seven" http://www.digikam.org/drupal/node/525 but
seems like it is not possible...

So, if You get errors like "undefined reference to `vtable" during
compilation, make sure You have g++ version 3 installed for mingw. It
installs version 4 by default but seems like digikam is not compilable
with that version.
(mingw-get install gcc-v3)

Gert

Gilles Caulier-4
Well, use TDM-GCC instead :

http://tdm-gcc.tdragon.net/

It's GCC 4.5.x ported to windows. I use it now instead Mingw which
still GCC 3.x...

NOTES :

- i must update my tutorial.
- I closed comments access to my tutorial because it spamed a lots...

Re: Compiling under windows - use gcc-v3

Andrew Goodbody
I use emerge and mingw4 on Win32 to build digikam.

gcc version 4.4.0 (GCC)

Works for me (tm).
