Compiling compilation fails: index.docbook:233: element link: validity error

S. Burmeister
Hey everybody!

When I try to compile the software compilation from scratch it fails with the
following error:

[  1%] Building CXX object
extra/libmediawiki/libmediawiki/CMakeFiles/mediawiki.dir/mediawiki_automoc.cpp.o
index.docbook:233: element link: validity error : IDREF attribute linkend
references an unknown ID "using-camera"

And after that lots of instances of:

No template for "/book/chapter/sect1/note" (or any of its leaves) exists
in the context named "title" in the "en" localization.
No context named "title" exists in the "en" localization.
No context named "title" exists in the "en" localization.
No context named "title" exists in the "en" localization.
No context named "title" exists in the "en" localization.
No context named "title" exists in the "en" localization.

Am I missing something or did some commit break the compilation?

Sven

Gilles Caulier-4
You need to install KDE dtd file from kde-sdk-devel package to compile
documentation

Could you please tell me the exact name of the dtd file?

It worked before with the packages I have installed.

Was compiling the docs not enabled before?

Re: Compiling compilation fails: index.docbook:233: element link: validity error

/usr/share/kde4/apps/ksgmltools2/customization/dtd> ls -la
insgesamt 32
drwxr-xr-x  2 root root 4096 29. Jan 15:04 .
drwxr-xr-x 52 root root 4096 29. Jan 15:04 ..
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 5137 25. Jan 16:51 kdex.dtd
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 2795 25. Jan 16:51 modifications.elements
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 2288 25. Jan 16:51 rdbhier2.elements
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 6710 25. Jan 16:51 rdbpool.elements

I have that file. In openSUSE it's part of kdelibs4-doc. So this cannot be the
error.

Re: Compiling compilation fails: index.docbook:233: element link: validity error

Gilles Caulier-4
strange,

Cleaned all build dir, i can reproduce the problem now.

It's showfoto handbook which failed. It's strange because no
"using-camera" id is defined in showfoto/index.handbook.

Only digikam/index.handbook has this id, and it compile file. Only
showfoto failed...

No idea for the the moment

At least you can reproduce it and I know it's not my fault. :)
