Commit filter is dead, but...

Gilles Caulier-4
Hi all,

Just few words about KDE commit filter tool, which a great email notifier for Git repository commits to follow all contributions from developers who work on digiKam projecy.

This one is now disable for GIT, as i can see since few weeks. I don't recieve anymore mails from KDE servers. The old interface still here but only manage project which always still on old SVN KDE server:

Well, there is a good news, because this one have been replaced by another tool hosted in projects.kde.org. To recieve mails, you just need to be registere on projects.kde.org. Go to your project that you want to recieve notification, as for ex digiKam :

Now look on the left sidebar. There is a checkbox option named "follow this project". Turn on the option, and ...voilà..., notifications are back (:=)))...

Best

Gilles Caulier

Do I need to register with this service? I don't have the "follow" option. Also I don't seem to be able to register, only on Chiliprojects, but this account doesn't work for the KDE projects page.

You must sign in with your KDE identity account (which everyone with git/svn access has), the login is on top right corner, then you'll see the follow option :)

Hmm it seems I have forgotten my credentials, at least the ones I use for GIT commits aren't working.
I guess I need to contact the projects administrator.

Thanks for your help!

Andi
