Just updated to Digikam 1.2 running debian sid. Now all my album captions and icons are gone !! Any suggestion how to address this ? I had the same problem for an earlier update a few years ago. This time am not sure I kept a backup of the database file. I have not made any hardware changes to my system. I updated debian using apt-get and started Digikam.
