Hi,
I am a new Digikam user and learning to master the multiple options of this wonderful photo editing software. In the documentation (https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/extragear-graphics/digikam/photographic-editing.html), there is a reference to a "red marker" ("The target photo preview has a red marker available. If you place this marker somewhere in the image, a corresponding vertical bar will be drawn in the histogram indicating the color level value in the current channel selected." However, this feature does not appear in my version of Digikam (4.13.0 Using KDE Development Platform 4.14.10, with OpenSuse 42.1). Am I missing something ?In order to adjust the local luminosity or contrast of a photo, this feature would be very useful. Hi again,
In order to illustrate the content of my previous email, here is what I see in the digiKam interface on my computer: http://www.sesame-savoir.com/contenu/media/divers/Digikam-RedMarkerMissing.jpeg And here is a screen capture of the KDE manual's content: http://www.sesame-savoir.com/contenu/media/divers/KDEDocumentationDigikam.jpeg Is this function still available or was it removed from the digiKam interface ? I searched through the gmane.comp.kde.digikam.user archive and found this entry dated back from January 2010: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.kde.digikam.user/11837/match=red+target Gilles Caulier indicated that "The idea is to check is color is oversatured or undersatured in target image, after to have applied colors effect.". This is indeed the functionality I am looking for.
