Hi,
I Have today made my first attempts att compiling digiKam 1.3.0 on openSUSE 11.2. The actual configuration and build works well, but I can't start the application after installation. There's just a popup telling me that QT4 sqlite and mysql are needed to run digikam. The popup tells me that I have qsqlite installed. The configuration says: -- Qt4 SQL module found..................... YES -- MySQL Server found....................... YES -- MySQL install_db tool found.............. YES I also tried to install from the KDE community repo (build service), with the same result. Any clues or ideas? /Anders _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Qt4 use plugins to handle database. Thereis one for SQlite and one for
MySQL. Check your installation Gilles Caulier 2010/6/26 Stedtlund <[hidden email]>: > Hi, > > I Have today made my first attempts att compiling digiKam 1.3.0 on > openSUSE 11.2. I had to install the 32-bit versions of the plugins also. Now it seems to work.

And the drawback of that was that I couldn't import any images. The
new albums were just empty, even if the folders contained the images. Back to 1.2.0 again. /Anders 2010/6/27 Stedtlund <[hidden email]>: > I had to install the 32-bit versions of the plugins also.
