Trying to build 0.9.4 on Mandriva 2008 from the source tarball but
configure complains about the C++ Preprocessor - output below...

Can anyone help?

Re: Building 0.9.4 fails on Mandriva 2008

Bugzilla from michel.pottier@free.fr
log as root then
"urpmi gcc-c++ gcc-cpp"
but it will be better to use the mandriva package management graphical tool (i don't know its name in english)

Do not run ./configure or make by root. You need to be a root only when
installing software with "make install".

The graphical fronend application for package management what Michel Pottier
suggest, is called as "rpmdrake". You can find it from menu "add/remove
applications" or from MCC (Mandriva Control Center).
