When I preview photos and use LightTable, I have to move pictures to "table"
even if there is only 2 pictures selected.
Why not preload them? would make life easier/faster ?

As an option, it's possible to pre-load the right panel but not both.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select 2 pictures
2. load light table
3. move the pictures on table


Expected Results:  
select 2 pictures
load light table
if only two, they are pre-loaded on table (same order than the one use for
display - alphabetical, chronological, ...)

Make items selection from icon-view and press CTRL+L. This is not enough ?

Icon view is the thumbnail one (default when opening digikam), right ?
In this case, image are loaded in the thumbnail list of the light table but
don't directly display both images in "full"/side-by-side view for comparison.
As said previously, there is an option to load right picture but nothing on
left.

It's just than when using most of the time light table to compare two pictures,
it would be more efficient/comfortable to not have to drag/drop image where the
line of actions is almost forced.

Ah. it seems when using "Par paire", the display is done directly. with or w/o
previous/select option.
