https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=297293

            Bug ID: 297293
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: 2.5.0
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: [hidden email]
Summary: option to use libnotify for non-blocking
                    errors/message.
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: [hidden email]
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: Usability
           Product: digikam

Instead of having modal window (user blocking) following some operations, users
could prefer to have a small notifcation in a corner of the screen like the one
of libnotify either one which disappear after some time, either staying until
user closes/ackknowledges it.
