In the Album view, whan a thumbnali is clicked, it is presented in the reduced
size preview. When the rotate clockwise and counterclockwise buttons are
clicked, the image does not rotate.

Problem is know and probably fixed in 2.6.0 beta2, where all rotation code have
been re-written...

As you can see the dysfunction is not reproducible on my computer.

I can only see a problem with first JPEG image thumbnail which is not rotated
on top thumb-bar.

Does not work for me. I use the album view:
1. click on image, to see its preview
2. click on rotate icon in the top-left of the preview
3. the progress bar opens at the bottom-right and remains at 0% forever
4. Quitting digikam shows "finishing tasks" which never actually finishes and
one has to cancel

Starting digikam from a konsole does not show any ouput when clicking on the
rotate icon only before that I get:

Your message is impossible if you use current implementation from Git/master
(digiKam 2.6.0). JPEGLossLess kipi-plugins, where these warnings come from is
now disabled in digiKam. You must see something like this in the console :

digikam(12436)/KIPI (loading) KIPI::PluginLoader::construct: Plugin
"JPEGLossless"  is in the ignore list from host application

I compiled again from scratch and while the error messages about the slots are
gone, the rotation does still not work.

Could there be any left-overs from previous installs, something in
/usr/lib/kde4?

Maybe this happens because I do not compile with
-DDIGIKAMSC_USE_PRIVATE_KDEGRAPHICS:BOOL=1 but use the KDE 4.8.1 libs.

I use also this cmake switch on my computer. It force to use local
libkipi/libkexiv2/libkdcraw etc... and not libraries from your system.

This is not the problem here.

I suspect that you use kipi-plugins from git/master (2.6.0-beta) and digiKam
2.5.0 ?

JPEGLossLess kipi-plugins is disabled into digiKam 2.6.0-beta, not digiKam
2.5.0...

I _do not_ use the private libs. So this could be the issue.

I compile the digikam compilation and use make install after that. This should
install everything. Maybe it's the system's libkipi-devel that I use.
