- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Attempting to delete 2 folders (nested). Nothing seemed to happen, so I tried
to delete the nested one on its own (it contained 1 file) when digiKam crashed.

This seems similar to a previously closed report 270248, reportedly fixed. I
have only had the program installed a week, so I would have expected the fix to
be included.

It crash into Exiv2 library, not digiKam...

Please report this problem to Exiv2 bugzilla.

Also, please, don't use 1.9.0 digiKam release. update to last 2.5.0.
