digikam (2.2.0) on KDE Platform 4.7.2 (4.7.2) using Qt 4.7.4

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I confirmed the same crash with DigiKam 2.2.0. It happens quite randomly. Once
it crashed a few seconds after the start, another time it went almost up to
50%.

I|m not very familiar with compiling more complex projects, so I can only test
this verion from Ubuntu PPA by Philip Johnsson.

I can also confirm that digiKam 2.4.1 on (K)ubuntu always crashes when scanning
faces. Even If I don't do anything else.
