Summary: digikam 2.0 RC won't start Product: digikam Version: 2.0.0 Platform: MS Windows OS/Version: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: [hidden email] ReportedBy: [hidden email] Version: 2.0.0 OS: MS Windows On windows install, XP SP3 OS digikam or showphoto don't even start . I get error "the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002), click ok to terminate the application ". This happens on both and all start menu shortcuts are wrong but that is easy fix . not sure if it needs more modules installed as I see KDE-window installer but seems its for old digikam Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: just try an start digikam, showphoto etc Actual Results: I get error "the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002), click ok to terminate the application ". I get 3 events generated when I try to start digikam.exe 1) dependent assembly Microsoft VC90 OpenMP could not be found and last error was the referenced assembly is not installed on your system. 2)Resolved partial assembly failed for Microsoft VC90 OpenMP. Reference error message: the referenced assembly is not installed on your system. 3)Generate activation context failed for C:\program files\digikam\KDE4-MSVC\bin\kdcraw.dll . I tried to install DigiKam both with Windows Installer (.exe) and then with KDE 4.7 Installer (after uninstall the first installation, of course) and it did not work. I have always the same message about C++ Visual Basic. Any idea ?
