Version:           1.9.0 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS:                Linux

Select one or more images (jpg), then use Tools -> Resize Images ...
Save the resulting images in a new place. Then the Digikam captions for the
original images are gone. They are kept in the resized copies.

Select an image, click F4 to edit and resize and save in a new place. Then the
caption is kept in the original and copy.

This happened also in version 1.8.0.
