Summary: Changing lpi/dpi is too hard to find Product: digikam Version: 1.5.0 Platform: Compiled Sources OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Usability AssignedTo: [hidden email] ReportedBy: [hidden email] Version: 1.5.0 (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux Users are offered the possibility to change the resolution (density) of a file only in the Options of the Prepare-for-print-dialogue, which again is only the fourth choice within a dropdown-menu of the resize-dialogue. This description alone should make clear that this is not appropriate. Changing the resolution of a file is not merely a matter of printing, but also a need for web-use. As a standard-procedure this function should be much more prominent either in the resize/crop-dialogue or somewhere in the Export-Menu, which also would make sense.
