The pakage 'qt4-database-plugin-sqlite-4.6.2-9mdv2010.1.i586' is already
installed. I suppose it is the required plugin. But digikam won't work and ends
with the same error message:
"Le module externe de base de données SQLite de Qt4 exécutable n'est pas
disponible - veuillez l'installer.
Les modules externes de bases de données installés sur votre ordinateur sont
listés ci-dessous :
QSQLITE"

This really looks like a problem of your distribution. Did you install digikam
by hand or was it pre-packaged?
