Summary: Open in Terminal command doesn't take KDE systemsettings into account Product: digikam Version: 1.2.0 Platform: unspecified OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: [hidden email] ReportedBy: [hidden email] Version: 1.2.0 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-22-generic When using the Album->'Open in Terminal' menu option, digiKam tries to open kconsole in stead of the terminal which is set in the KDE systemsettings panel. It would be user-friendly and as far as I understood in accordance with the KDE guidelines to honor the KDE systemsettings. It would be especially handy for people who use another desktop environment (such as gnome) but prefer digiKam as a photo tool because one would like to use the default console. And for example in Ubuntu kconsole isn't even installed by default. Thanxs if someone changes this. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
