I'm using digikam 1.3. I just compiled it yesterday again. The Bug has been
since I'm using 1.3 (like a week).
Sometimes when I rate for the first time in a session, digikam crashes. When I
restart digikam it mostly works.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

At the moment I could reproduce the bug 5 times in a row... Each time with a
different picture. The pictures are located on a network but the metadata
should not be written to file at the moment.
So the crash seems to be related to the mysql part of digikam.
