[Bug 226118] New: IPTC metadata tag delimiter is no longer stored (since 0.10)

Bugzilla from Torsten.Lull@gmx.de
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=226118

Summary: IPTC metadata tag delimiter is no longer stored (since
                    0.10)
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: [hidden email]
        ReportedBy: [hidden email]

Version:            (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

If saving IPTC metadata (keywords), digiKam 0.9.x stored the complete path, e.
g., tag1/tag2/tag3
Starting with version 0.10 (including 1.0) the tags are stored separately
without a delimiter. It would be nice if you could reactivate the old
behaviour. Additionally it could be possible to have the choice whether a
delimiter and which delimiter should be stored (see Adobe Bridge).

Thanks in advance
   Torsten

To store Tags path, digiKam use now a dedicated XMP name-space instead IPTC
metadata. IPTC store only tags name since 0.10.0.
