A metadatahub keeps a map of TAlbum pointers. For a good long-term solution, we need to get away from TAlbums*, they cannot be accessed from a different thread and cause these problems here. We probably need an additional cache of the tags tree, at a low level (AlbumDB, DatabaseAccess), and fully mutex protected.
